The Black Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) Covid-19 Community Support Service (BCCS) will deliver a pilot BAME Covid-19 Community Support Service, funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) via a grant from Wirral Council, concentrating on supporting people shown to be most at risk from Coronavirus (COVID-19) specifically those from a BAME background and to reduce the impacts of the virus on themselves and those around them.

- Hours: Full Time 35 hours per week

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to be instrumental in providing a Covid 19 community response engaging BAME communities in Wirral, reducing the impacts of the virus on individuals, families and communities. The programme will seek to engage with people from a wide range of BAME communities living in Wirral including; South Asian, South East Asian and European communities and others, taking into account those from ‘hard to engage with’ communities who face barriers in accessing services.
We are looking for dynamic individuals who can lead on community engagement and develop strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
