The aim of Postcode Neighbourhood Trust is to support smaller charities and good causes in the North of England to make a difference to their community for the benefit of the people and the planet.
Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have funded good causes in every postcode area in Britain.
Postcode Neighbourhood Trust achieves its objectives through funds received from its society lottery, operated by its External Lottery Manager, Postcode Lottery Ltd (marketed as People’s Postcode Lottery). They operate their own society lottery and receive all their funding from players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
Efforts have been made to make the process more flexible to better serve smaller charities and good causes. With this in mind, they will be funding a round opening each month from February until October.
In order to process the high number of applications they are likely to receive, each round will close once 100 bids have been submitted, or by the dates indicated below, whichever comes first. Once a round has closed organisations who didn’t get to apply are encouraged to apply in the following month’s round.
Funding rounds in 2021 will open on the following dates:

May 3rd until 17th May at 5:00pm
June 1st until 15th June at 5:00pm
July 1st until 15th July at 5:00pm
August 2nd until 16th August at 5:00pm
September 1st until 15th August at 5:00pm
October 1st until 15th October at 5:00pm
