Salary: £24,886 per annum pro rata (actual salary £14,931.60)

Community Action Wirral are seeking a Development Officer (Children and Young People’s Lead).

The successful applicant will be a skilled person with experience of children and young people’s services, and ideally also special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Their role will be to work with and support the voluntary, community and faith sector and local communities, supporting engagement, capturing views and influencing decisions that will contribute towards brighter futures for our children and young people.

The role will also involve delivering independently or co-delivery of training to the sector. Therefore, a training or teaching qualification is essential.

The position is based in Wallasey but also has a presence in Community Action Wirral’s community venues based in Prenton, West Kirby, Overchurch and Bromborough. Thus travel will be required.
