“The Hive will be a high quality facility open to all of the young people of Wirral between the ages of 8 to 19 (25 with disabilities or learning difficulties).
It will be built next to Birkenhead community fire station, where Exmouth Street meets Claughton Road.
We are keen to engage schools and organisations on the Wirral that are currently working with young people in any capacity.
Currently, we are working on a Transportation Consultation within the schools, colleges and youth groups in the Wirral. This consultation is designed to gain young people views regarding travel, where they go, how they find it, if there are any issues and also to build the profile of The Hive.

It is also possible to arrange for staff and young people to visit another Youth Zone to see how it is working in practice.
