Wirral Met College are inviting a variety of organisations with volunteering opportunities to come and present to students at their Volunteering Fair on the following dates and campuses:
24th May – Conway Park
25th May – Wirral Waters
26th May – 12 Quays
27th May – The Oval*
The Fair will run from 11-1pm on each of the 4 days and would expect to have at least 250 students attending each event (*numbers at The Oval will be much smaller due to the size of the campus but students there are studying for Public Service qualifications and therefore, by definition, likely to be interested in Volunteering to enhance their future job prospects).
Organisations are invited to staff a table in the main reception area of each of the campuses and take a pro-active approach to promoting their services and/or volunteering opportunities to our students. We would hope and expect this to be mutually beneficial as we try and promote the concept and value of Volunteering to the student community.
