Trust Seeking Nurses With Pride

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is to add to its’ 5,600 strong workforce with a major recruitment drive for nurses.

The Trust has launched a new campaign called ‘Proud To Nurse’, which calls on experienced and newly qualified nurses, as well as those wanting to return to nursing, to get in contact.

Not stopping there, the Trust has also committed to focus on nurturing its existing staff to further develop their nursing skills. This combination aims to ensure the hospitals are able to meet the demands of modern healthcare, delivered with traditional nursing values of compassion and care.

The new recruits can be assured of a warm welcome from existing staff who are already looking forward to the nurses joining them.

Dave Byrne, Theatre Staff Nurse at Arrowe Park Hospital, said: “The new staff will give our hospitals a fresh, vibrant feel and will learn lots from the many experienced colleagues and experts who already work at our Trust.”

“We have a great team that works together to provide friendly, effective care for our patients. We are a very busy hospital Trust so the recruitment of more nurses will have a really positive impact for both our patients and staff.”
