Voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations in England, Scotland and Wales can apply now for grants to improve green spaces in their local communities.
Tesco’s Bags of Help is funded by Tesco customers from the proceeds of the 5p charge for plastic carrier bags as a result of a government carrier bag levy which went into effect on 5 October 2015. The charity Groundwork, which specialises in transforming communities and the local environment for the better, is administering the local funding.
