Veolia and Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority are to host two FREE open days at Gillmoss Materials Recovery Facility (MRF).
The open days will be on Saturday 18th July and Friday 7th August.
These will be an opportunity to see what happens to your recycling after it has been collected and discover more about the latest technology at the Materials Recovery Facility.
The tours will also include interactive games and activities, a free prize draw to win a hamper, and plenty of tips on how to reduce, reuse and recycle.
And if that wasn’t enough, there will be a range of stalls from local projects who recieved funding from the MRWA and Veolia Community Fund, showcasing their activities. These include:
- Faiths 4 Change
- Project UP
- Wirral Change
- MerseyCycle
- Bulky Bob’s
