A fundraising scheme kayaking around the Wirral coast has surpassed all expectations and is now almost 9 times over it’s original target!
Mike Dudley and others joining him on the quest are raising funds for Claire House Children’s Hospice. So far the amount donated stands at an astounding £4,425!
Claire House offers care, support and choice to families whose children won’t live to be adults, aiming to ensure that families’ remaining time with their children will be remembered for all the right reasons.
Mike first kayaked around the Wirral coast with 6 friends in 2013 to coincide with the Wirral Coastal Walk. Last year the numbers taking part had grown to 18 and this year the numbers have soared to 60 people pledging to take part!
