The Williamson Art Gallery are to host FREE summer art workshops for children and young people aged 8 – 15 this August.
The summer art workshops will take place every week (Tuesday to Friday, 10:15am to 12:30pm) and offer children and young people a great opportunity to work with professional artists in paint, collage, clay and mixed media.
The work produced will form part of a large scale community arts project entitled ‘…and the River flows on’ which explores the history, communities, industry and environment of the River Mersey and the future regeneration of the area. The creative explorations will then result in a 5 panel art installation.
