The Claire House Splash Dash takes place in Birkenhead Park this Saturday, 11th July.
The Splash Dash is the flagship event for Claire House Children’s Hospice and it has been created to show the community exactly what Claire House is all about – a place to have fun!
Participants start in their brightest white t-shirt and, as they pass each kilometre point, they will be pelted with different colours of powdered paint, until they finish the course looking like a human rainbow!
Gates open at 12pm and participants will be entertained by Juice FM before taking part in a crazy warm up at 12.30pm. Everyone will then be gathered on the start line for a team photo, before the start horn sounds at 1pm and paint starts flying!
Then, at the finish line, there will be cleaning stations to help clean off most of the paint. The paint is 100% hypoallergenic and eco-friendly and should not stain your clothes. However, it is advised that all participants wear clothes and trainers that they don’t mind getting messy!
After the run there will be music, stalls and entertainment. So stick around and have an enjoyable afternoon with the Claire House team and Juice FM.
