The Wro Features Heavily In Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards

The Wro at West Kirby is heavily featured in this year’s shortlist for the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2015.

It is nominated in both the Bar Of The Year and Independent Tourism Business of the Year awards, and Jonathon Medley has been nominated for the Tourism Young Person of the Year award… and, not only that, both Jenny Howard and Roger Ackroyd have been nominated for the Outstanding Customer Service award!

However, it’s not only The Wro who have something to shout about as another NINE attractions feature in this year’s shortlist:

  • Mere Brook House at Thornton Hough, and Peel Hey at West Kirby are nominated for the Guest Accommodation Of The Year award
  • Thornton Hall Hotel and Spa at Heswall is nominated for the Hotel of the Year award
  • Bubbles World of Play at New Brighton is nominated for the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year award
  • Port Sunlight Museum, and Shore Cottage Studio at Thurstaston are nominated for the Small Visitor Attraction of the Year award
  • Caffe Cream at New Brighton, Claremont Farm at Bebington, and The Lawns at Thornton Hall are nominated for the Taste Liverpool award

Plus there is also the People’s Choice award, which will remain open for nominations until 30th April. So get voting for your favourite Wirral attractions now!

The winners for all of this year’s awards will be announced at a glittering ceremony and dinner on 21st May.
