The Liverpool City Region Impact Fund (LCRIF) will close to applications very soon. It has already made five great investments in amazing local charities and social enterprise but we want to make more! We are looking to make approximately six more investments by 30th June 2016. The final deadline for applications is Friday 4th March 2016. The fund will then close to applications until approximately 2018/19. Please find details below…
To date the fund has been used to refurbish buildings, purchase equipment and to scale up existing services. Four out of the five charities and social enterprise that the fund has invested into so far have gone on to leverage in further funding (ranging from £100k to £2m). Liverpool City Region Impact Fund (LCRIF) loans:
- £50,000 – £250,000
- No security needed
- Suitable when banks can’t help
- Flexible repayment terms of up to 5 years
- Competitive interest rates based on risk and affordability (typically 5-6%)
- No arrangement fee and no penalty for early repayment
- Loan repayments form a legacy for the Liverpool City Region
