As from the 9th December 2016 Catholic Children’s Society (Diocese of Shrewsbury Inc.) well established and respected organisation here in the Wirral was replaced by
Caritas Diocese of Shrewsbury (CARITAS for short)
as the Diocesan Social and Community Work Agency. The new charity will encompass the work of CCS and current services and staff will be TUPE’d over to the new charity. The change has been made so that the Charity can better respond to the current needs of those requiring support and to enable us to expand our portfolio of services to include intergenerational work, youth at risk of homelessness and support for those seeking asylum and refuge. CARITAS will be an exciting new project, and we look forward to the new challenges and possibilities it will bring.
We will have new e mail addresses but office addresses and telephone numbers remain the same, so we are contactable during the transition period.
