The official launch of Stick ‘n’ Step’s lottery coincides with World Cerebral Palsy Day (Wednesday 5 October).
To celebrate the event, the children at Stick ‘n’ Step are dressing up as their favourite superheros.

Cerebral palsy charity Stick ‘n’ Step is officially launching its own supporters’ lottery this Wednesday (5 October 2016) to coincide with World CP Day. The Wirral-based charity, which provides conductive therapy to 70 children from across the region, has signed up to take part in the weekly Unity Lottery, which offers a variety of money prizes.
With a top prize of £25,000, the lottery offers participants the chance to try their luck, at the same time as supporting a very good cause. If the £25,000 prize is won, Stick ‘n’ Step also receive a £2,500 donation. Lottery membership is just one pound per week and at least 50p from every pound donated comes directly to the charity as profit. Participants are assigned their own six-digit number and a winning number is selected randomly every week. Already one of Stick ‘n’ Step’s supporters, Patsy Crocker, who works at the Wirral Chamber of Commerce, has won £25 in only her second week of taking part.

CP Day, which is using ‘I Am Here’ as its slogan, aims to highlight all aspects of CP on a global stage, from raising awareness and issues of civil rights, to ongoing medical research and quality of life.
Sarah Smithson, Operations Manager at Stick ‘n’ Step, commented: “We provide a range of free services that increase our children’s confidence, ability and mobility. Anyone who supports Stick ‘n’ Step in any way they can is much appreciated, with all donations very important to us. Every penny we receive goes towards changing our children’s lives for the better. The lottery offers the great chance to not only help us, but potentially win prize money from £5 to £25,000 too. We wish all our supporters the best of luck”.
Stick ‘n’ Step provides support services to children with cerebral palsy and their families. The charity works with over 70 children, allowing the children to gain the skills they need to live independent lives through conductive education sessions. The specialist sessions are provided free of charge to the families by Stick ‘n’ Step.
