Young People on Wirral now have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people across the country

Want to be a member of the UK Youth Parliament (UKYP)? It’s now time to send us your manifestos!

We have already told you about the UKYP and why it’s important we get young people in Wirral involved.

Members of the Youth Parliament (MYPs) stand for one year and get the chance to work with MPs, decision makers and youth groups to highlight the issues that matter to them and their peers.

Here’s how it will work:

Registration – 6th – 31st January. Those who wish to stand will be asked to submit your manifesto during this period.

Voting – 1st-23rd February. This will be the time to vote for your favourite candidate! Each manifesto will be available on Teenwirral.

Results – 25th February. The Chief Executive will announce the results at Wallasey Town Hall on this day.
