Have your say on your Local Plan
The council is consulting on the options for Wirral’s Local Plan – a blueprint for the borough’s regeneration and development over the next 15 years.
It includes a preferred option of focusing on meeting the borough’s housing and employment requirements through regeneration of brownfield and urban locations.
In addition, the Council is putting forward proposals on how the infrastructure needed to support additional housing and employment sites will be delivered, focusing on regeneration in key areas.
A key element of this stage is asking all those with an interest in the future of Wirral for their views.
A new online portal has been developed to allow people to comment in as much detail as they choose on the options for Wirral’s emerging Local Plan. This can accessed through the council website: www.wirral.gov.uk/localplan.
You can use this to view all the documents which underpin the options and can comment on these – however, although you can read it without being registered you must register to be able to comment.
The consultation is taking place between Monday January 27 and Monday March 23. You can register at any time and return to the documents as often as you like within the eight week consultation to respond to as many of the questions as you choose.
