“Wirral Youth Zone, named by young people as ‘The Hive’ will be a £6m state-of-the-art youth facility built on Exmouth St, adjacent to the new Fire Station, in the centre of Birkenhead and will be a place where all of Wirral’s young people can reach their full potential, grow their dreams and achieve their goals. The Hive will offer a wide range of activities for young people aged between eight and 19, up to 25 for those with a disability, including; dance, sport, music, media, employability and mentoring. The Hive will cost young people just 50p per visit and will be somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to for all the young people of Wirral. The Hive is set to be completed at the end of 2016.
