Since March this year, the Wirral InfoBank has been growing to reflect the offers of community support available.
Residents of Wirral, those working within the third sector and those in both the private and public sector are able to utilise this FREE directory.
The service can be found here and has already received over 366,000 views as they continue to react to the latest offers in which communities need.
In October, the InfoBank listed 80 organisations and businesses that were offering support during the half term for families.
As Christmas fast approaches, the Wirral InfoBank has started to pull together the third sector and local businesses response to Christmas on Wirral. The ‘Community Christmas Offer’ will capture all the local offers in one place.
The following article explains how to find the growing list of resources, referrals, places to donate to and Christmas events.

Any offers within the community can change in response to Covid-19, the Wirral InfoBank offers as a solution by sharing the latest offers across the communication networks. They upload posters; alternative offers and push the needs and solutions all into one place.
HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
Wirral InfoBank would like to hear from you regarding your potential Christmas plans. To make a listing, share your offer and discuss how to be involved please email: or fill in a ‘suggest a service’ form here.
Please include everything from your referral pathway, activities, donations needed, drop off points and events. It can be as small as a request for Christmas cards for care home residents, or how to get a Christmas dinner for an isolated neighbour or an offer of support for a family struggling. They can acknowledge partnership working by highlighting organisations coming together to provide for those in need and everything in between that showcases how the community of Wirral is pulling together.
The benefits of bringing resources together for Christmas will mean that information can be altered in reflection of the latest Covid-19 information, collaboration work can be easily identifiable by organisations, sharing resources will be easy and acknowledgment of support can be highlighted for businesses who act at drop off points for collections or also offer community support.
