Wirral Family Coaching Programme

Wirral Early Help secured funding to pilot a Family Coaching Programme across Wirral for 6 months which is free from referrals, thresholds & waiting lists. The aim is to empower families (including extended family/grandparents) to set and achieve goals by using a coaching model, trusting they have their own answers and with space, reflection and the right questions, they can achieve change.

Every family needs some support sometimes, whatever we tell our friends, or even ourselves – we all have something we’d like to get better at and, for that reason, Wirral Family Coaching are introducing a new project here in Wirral. With a range of partners, they’re offering a telephone and online family coaching programme that is designed to encourage you to think about the challenges you and your family are facing and find ways through them.

Over the next few months, they’re working with a range of partners across Wirral to deliver a telephone and online family coaching programme. Coaching is all about encouraging you as a family member to think about the challenges you’re facing and find ways through them. However, the key thing with coaching is that you’ll do this with another person, someone independent who’ll support you to come up with your own solutions.

Their team of coaches come from Wirral’s really strong and skilled community sector and they’ve all been trained up (adding to their existing skillset) to take on this role. What’s more, they know lots about your local area so you can find out about other things going on across Wirral that can help you and your family in the future.

What do I need to do to get involved?

This service is for anyone, whatever everyday challenges you face and what’s more – it comes absolutely free. It’s also designed to get you to the support you need very quickly and in a way that works for you. However, their resource isn’t limitless so it will be on a ‘first come first served’ basis, so get in there quick and contact one of their coaches today.
