Join us at our upcoming Employer Information Event to help inform businesses about the Universal Credit full service which is being rolled out in the Wirral area on 15th November 2017.
Universal Credit is a new single monthly payment for people who are on a low income or out of work. It brings together a range of current benefits and tax credits.
Changes to benefits systems are going to impact all staff employed on 16 hour contracts. The 16 hours rule will disappear, so staff can increase their hours and no longer worry about losing their benefits.
We have many employers who employ people on 16 hour contracts, particularly in health and social care, retail, admin, hospitality and call centre type operations. It will also have a big impact on sectors where short term hours, seasonal work and temporary employment is high; construction, for example.
Format / Agenda
• 8:00am – 8:30am – Registration and Networking
• 8:30am – 9:30am – Overview of Universal Credit and the benefits / Impacts for Employers

The event will offer attendees the opportunity to have a one -2 – one session with Jobcentre Plus Account Managers for personalised service overview and future planning.
