Wired is a registered charity that provides a range of services to disabled adults, children, young
people, parents and carers. WIRED has delivered the Wirral SEND Information, Advice and Guidance (IAS) service successfully for many years and is now seeking to appoint a self-motivated and efficient caseworker with a proven track record of delivering high quality 1:1 work with families of children/young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This is an opportunity to join an enthusiastic and dedicated team. You will be offering a range of Information, Advice and Support services, developing new initiatives and empowering children and young people with SEND and their parents/carers parents and carers to have more choice, control and improved outcomes.
It is essential to have; experience of work with families of children and young people with SEND,
experience of applying the Special Educational Needs and Disability agenda and relevant SEND
legislation including the Children and Families Act (2014) and the Send Code of Practice 2015,
plus experience of working across, and with a wide range of partners and agencies.
The person appointed will need a high level of organisational & IT ability, and be able to manage
their time effi ciently. It is essential applicants have a full, clean driving license.
