Staff and volunteers in the voluntary community and social enterprise sector have played a major role in the community response to COVID-19. We want to make sure all staff and volunteers who directly provide frontline health or care support AND who are working with people clinically extremely vulnerable to COVID-19 across Wirral can work safely and access the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible, wherever they work, whoever they work for, whether as an employee or as a volunteer.
Accessing the vaccine
If your organisation has staff who are directly providing frontline health or care to residents of Wirral, we need to understand how many need to be vaccinated.
To do this:
- Work out how many people in your workforce are front-line health or social care workers – working directly, face to face, with Wirral residents. Further information about this can be accessed in Chapter 14A of the Green Book.
- Share the number of staff you have together with details of their roles with us via the e-mail address below. Please do not include any personal information such as names or NHS Numbers.
Please send your details to , we will check the details and confirm if your staff would be eligible to receive the vaccine. We will then contact you with details of how to book appointments.
