Claire House Fundraising Reception is looking for a bright, people focused person to join the busy admin team. With a passion for helping people and a meticulous eye for detail, you will play a pivotal role in the stewardship of Claire House supporters. This is a part-time role, which will be job shared with an existing team member, and is based on the Wirral.
Our Dream is to one-day reach every single child that needs our services. We have set the challenge of significantly increasing the capacity of Claire House by sustainably growing our care services, facilities and our income generation. It is vital that as part of this growth plan we inspire, engage and retain supporters, through an outstanding stewardship program, in which the Fundraising Reception team play a huge part.
This is a public facing role, which requires exceptional people skills and a genuine enthusiasm for helping supporters understand the enormous difference they make. As a member of the fundraising team, this role has diverse responsibilities and plays a key part in day to day management of the administration support for all departments within the fundraising centre.
The post holder will be a meticulously well organised self-starter, who is able to act on their own initiative. They will prioritise competing demands from a variety of teams, utilising and managing a pool of reception volunteers who play an integral part in the fundraising team.
A passion for the cause is essential, as is the ability to speak with confidence about the work we do. Strong communication skills are essential.
