Close Brothers’ acclaimed Trustee Leadership Programme is coming to Manchester on the 9th November 2016.

11.00am to 5.00pm – Modules 1 – 3
6.00pm to 8.00pm – Module 4 and charity matching event
Location Manchester Art Gallery, Mosley Street, Manchester, M2 3JL
Delivered by social enterprise Cause4 in partnership with the Clothworkers’ Company, the programme provides a summary of the key duties and responsibilities of a charity Trustee including:
• an overview of the charity sector and the importance of Trustees;
• governance and strategic planning;
• financial management; and
• an introduction to fundraising.
The day will culminate with a charity matching evening, where delegates will meet charities who are seeking new Trustees. There will also be the opportunity to network. The programme is aimed at individuals who wish to become a Trustee for the first time, together with existing Trustees who would like a refresher. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
