Trainee Debt Caseworker

Location: Wirral

Salary: £22,445

Hours: 35 per week

Citizens Advice Wirral are looking to recruit a trainee debt caseworker to join our specialist Debt Team to assist people to resolve their debt issues. You will empower people to manage their money issues and provide high quality debt advice.

You will be an excellent communicator who has experience of dealing with a range of people with different issues and needs. You will be able to prioritise own work and meet deadlines. The post holder will be responsible for achieving targets and work towards managing a caseload.

This exciting role, as part of Citizens Advice Wirral’s Money Advice team, will provide information and advice by email, telephone, and face to face.

An awareness of the support and options available when giving Debt advice to clients is desirable, however,  full training will be provided. Knowledge and experience of advice work is desired, with an emphasis on good written and verbal communication skills, ability to use a range of IT systems and accurate recording skills.

Financial Capability Worker

Location: Wirral

Salary: £20,700

Hours: 31.5 hrs per week

Citizens Advice Wirral are looking to recruit a Financial Capability Worker to join our existing team. The post holder will deliver financial education to individuals on a one to one basis across Wirral and neighbouring areas.

The role will aim to develop people’s skills, knowledge and confidence to enable them to make the financial choices that are right for them and to help them to avoid financial crises.

The role will be closely aligned to our Money Advice Caseworkers.  The post holder will also work closely with partners to develop good working relationships and referral routes to the project.  The post holder will use all channels to deliver services and to make an assessment of the level of support required at first contact.

Administrator

Location: Wirral

Salary: £17,499

Hours: 35 per week

Citizens Advice Wirral are looking for an experienced administrator to support two projects and the wider organisation.

The successful applicant will be an efficient and flexible team member who has:

  • Recent experience of working in an office environment supporting project work with a wide range of administration duties
  • Experience of dealing with service users
  • Proven organisational skills
  • Good IT skills and experience of using a range of IT systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
