Merseyside Police Commissioner’s Crime Prevention Fund is designed to help charities, community groups and social enterprises stop problems before they occur, by reducing the opportunities for crime and by deterring people away from becoming involved in anti-social and illegal behaviour. Bids of between £5,000 and £25,000 for innovative community safety projects or schemes that will be run during 2015/16 are being welcomed. NHS England are seeking to make grant Grants available of up to £25,000 each across our four regions of operation to support the development of Youth Forums. NHS England is looking to build on existing local youth networks by supporting an additional focus on youth health issues. The UK Armed Forces are offering funding to those who wish to hold an Armed Forces Day event on Saturday 27th June. Armed Forces Day aims to raise public awareness of the contribution made by Her Majesty’s Armed Forces and give the nation an opportunity to show our support for those who make up the Armed Forces community. Music For Alice is currently accepting applications for funding of up to £1000. Awards can be made to any group, organisation or charity based in the UK that can demonstrate that funding will enable them to improve lives through music. There are two awards to apply for: “Music for Youth” is aimed at applicants focussed on using music to improve lives for 0-19 year olds; “Music for Health” is aimed at applicants focussed on using music for health or rehabilitation benefits. DONG Energy have committed to a Community Fund worth approximately £235,000 for areas affected by the Burbo Bank Extension off shore wind farm.
