This intermediate level course is for fundraisers or those managing fundraisers who have some (but not vast) experience of proposal writing.  The course will extend participants’ knowledge and skills in order to help understand more about the trust funding environment and improve the quality and attractiveness of their funding applications so they can make their proposals stand out from the crowd.

Knowing the current trends in trusts fundraising, being able to analyse your attempts and building great relationships with your donors can make all the difference to your trusts fundraising. This course will provide a useful insight on these aspects as well as explore some of the terminology used by trusts, what it relates to and enable you to respond in an appropriate way. By attending the course participants will find out more about how the use of language can influence the outcomes too.

About your trainer:
Gill Jolly FInst(Dip) has over 25 years experience in the charity sector, working as a fundraiser, manager, director and trainer of fundraisers and support teams with a wide variety of sizes and types of organisation. She now runs her own consultancy, and works with not-for-profit organisations across the UK and Europe providing a wide range of bespoke fundraising and management consultancy services. Gill has worked with the IoF since 2000 delivering fundraising’s professional qualifications, and leading courses on strategy, management and implementation.
