Welcome to the 2019 State of the Sector Wirral survey. The results of this survey will inform Community Action Wirral’s strategic objectives and will be used by Wirral Council to advise their 2030 vision. Please remember that no matter how large or small your organisation we need to hear from you.

All of the information that you supply will be used solely by Community Action Wirral in its raw format. The data will be shared with Wirral Council in an anonymised format.

The aggregated data will be made publicly available in a full report and will be shared with organisations within community, public and private sectors throughout Wirral, Liverpool City Region and nationally.

We are immensely proud of the amazing work that the community sector does in Wirral and we can’t wait to share the results of this survey to talk about that.

We also know that there are some really big challenges facing our sector and we will be using the data from this survey to give us the integrity to talk about the whole sector here in Wirral and aim to make changes to the local operating environments to improve the outcomes despite the challenges that we face.

State of the Sector Reports provide the best information available into the health and wellbeing of voluntary action in Wirral.  It’s the best overview of what community and voluntary organisations, charities and social enterprises are doing.  It quantifies as far as possible income and expenditure and the spread of activity across an amazingly diverse sector. Quite simply it’s the key building block for all other research on our sector.

We really appreciate that your time is very precious. Upon completion of the survey, you will be entered into a prize draw to win £300 unrestricted funds for your organisation. The winner will be informed in mid-November and will be encouraged to partake in some promotion about their win, though this isn’t compulsory.
