If you are looking for business Start-up funding, then Virgin Start-up is on hand to offer start-up loans supported by advice and mentors.
Since launching in late 2013, Virgin Start-up has given out over £5m to entrepreneurs and has helped to fund over 700 businesses. Wirral Chamber of Commerce is a now delivery agent for Virgin Start-up.
Entrepreneurs and new start-up businesses based within Wirral, the Liverpool City Region and surrounding areas, can not only access funding from £500 up to £25,000, but also receive advice and support through Wirral Chamber of Commerce as part of a Virgin Start-up package.
The Virgin Start-up support is aimed at, not only people with just an idea, but also those who have already started a business and have been trading under 24 months. Every eligible entrepreneur that applies for a start-up loan, can receive help and support from Wirral Chamber of Commerce to get their business plan produced.
Those already with business plans will be able to get a full review by one of Wirral Chamber’s business advisors to maximise their chances of success.
Wirral Chamber of Commerce will use a range of delivery methods to ensure that applicants are completely confident in their business idea and their business strategy before they submit their start up loan application. This is made through dedicated support which includes one-to-one mentoring, remote support and face-to-face meetings.
If you receive a Virgin Start-up loan, the loan will be paid directly into your bank account. You will then be matched with a local mentor who will be committed to at least 15 hours of one-on-one face-to-face support over 12 months. By taking out a Virgin Start-up loan you get access to offers to help you build a sustainable business, including discounted mobile phone contracts, free legal advice and 20% discount on Virgin Trains.
