Small Grant Funding from Wirral Care Foundation

The Wirral Care Foundation is the charitable arm of Home Instead Senior Care Wirral and was set up in 2013 by Mike and Catharine Chalton to help the Wirral community. Our main project so far, which is still ongoing, is to advise and educate people and businesses across Wirral in Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Further details on this can be obtained from our Business Development Executives, Bev Favager and Lucy Taylor.

The purpose of the funding is to support small projects across the Wirral who are not in a position to apply for larger pots of money such as lottery funding or local council funding.  The project needs to be community based and currently running. The money can be used for any purpose. There is an overall fund of £3,000 and it is expected that several projects could be supported with this fund.

Applications are open until 27th May 2019. After that a panel of judges will assess the applications and successful projects will be informed before 17th June 2019. There will be a celebration evening for the successful projects in July at a venue to be confirmed.

Please send your application to Lucy Taylor/ Bev Favager at the Foundation address below.
