The survey is for any employees or volunteers (including trustees) involved in fundraising for a charities, social enterprises or community groups. Throughout the survey we refer to charities, social enterprises or community groups under the banner ‘community and voluntary organisations’.
NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) and Nesta’s Centre for Innovation in Finance are interested in learning about community and voluntary organisations’ fundraising needs and their awareness or usage of crowdfunding. Those answering this survey will need to have a good understanding of how their organisation raise funds.
The survey should take no more than 15 min to complete and participants can win a £250 donation to a charity of their choice.
By taking part in the survey, you will help Nesta and NCVO better understand how to support community and voluntary organisationssuch as yours to make the most of these new methods. Lessons from the survey will also be used to shape policy recommendations on how government can best support crowdfunding for community and voluntary organisations and their activities.
We will also publish the lessons in a report which will be free to the public.
