Wednesday 21st October 10.30am
Hosted by Wirral Councils Road Safety Team with expert guest speakers from various fields within road safety, the webinar will be funded by the Road Safety Trust and held on the Zoom platform.
With the darker nights almost here and the winter months not too far ahead, the Safer People, Safer Vehicles, Safer Journeys webinar will focus on “seeing and being seen” and “vehicle safety”. Following a crash, more often than not we hear “I didn’t see them” so we’ll be hearing from Richard Owen from Agilysis Limited on the effect of changing the clocks and how it impacts on Road Traffic Collisions.
October is also national Tyre Safety month so we’ll be hearing from Stuart Jackson the Chairman of Tyresafe, stressing the importance of why tyre safety matters, remember it’s just that little patch of rubber that keeps you in contact with the road so it has to be in good condition, especially with the challenging weather conditions ahead of us.

Finally, we have teamed up with How’s My Driving, see more here https://www.howsmy.co.uk/ they are the company who supply the yellow stickers for vehicles for the public to submit feedback on the driver and we’ll have an offer for your company to have these for free for a year (depending on certain criteria), These stickers are funded by the Road Safety Trust.
**The webinar starts at 10:30 and lasts for an hour with an additional 15 minutes for any Q & A that may arise** io
