Fleetsolve, a North West-based renewable bioenergy and carbon reduction specialist is going to triple its workforce over the next six months, creating 70 new jobs in Merseyside.
They have announced this fresh recruitment drive as part of a £150m growth plan for the next few years.
The firm will be moving headquarters from Neston, Cheshire, to a new 24,500sq site at the Riverview Business Park in Bromborough, Wirral.
According to Fleetsolve, which specialises in design, manufacture, and operation of liquid biofuel combined heat and power (CHP), their reason for expansion is a result of an increased demand for zero-carbon power generation technology.
Keith O’Connor, chief executive of Fleetsolve, said:
“Our expansion announcement today is only the beginning as we’re looking to grow significantly over the next three years as part of our £150million growth plan.

Fleetsolve is part of the SIMEC group, which turns over $3.7bn per year. Its CHP units are fuelled using waste liquids such as oils, fats, and greases, to create renewable fuel to power buildings across all major industry sectors. These buildings include Tesco stores, NHS hospitals, hotels, prisons, and universities.
Their new Wirral HQ is currently being transformed into a carbon zero site using a combination of energy reduction and low carbon generation ready for their move in January.
