You will learn about the value of play in developing children of different age groups and best practice and develop work and life skills such as managing relationships, communication and confidence. (Apprenticeship opportunities available)  
Adult Health and Social Care Programme Level 1 and 2  10:00 – 12:00 each session   Monday 5th of July Tuesday 6th of July Wednesday 7th of July Thursday 8th of July Friday 9th of July Monday 12th of July Wednesday 14th of July Friday 16th of July Tuesday 20th of JulyUnderstanding what really happens in the care sector and the range of different job opportunities available -Communication skills, Awareness of roles and responsibilities in Adult Social Care, Building effective relationships with work colleagues and understanding what really happens in the care sector and the range of different job opportunities.  This programme also includes Safeguarding training: A course designed by an award winning team of experts to help increase your knowledge, understanding and awareness of the Prevent Duty and Safeguarding so that you’re able to act and respond in the right way when dealing with concerns. The course will help you to be able to recognise and reduce risk better. (Apprenticeship opportunities available)      
Change4Life programme L110:00 – 12:00 each session   Monday 5th of July Wednesday 7th of July Friday 9th of July Monday 12th of July Wednesday 14th of July Friday 16th of July Monday 19th of July Wednesday 21st of July Friday 23rd of JulyThis programme is designed for individuals who have been out of work for some time due to a health condition (whether that is physical or a cognitive condition) This programme includes employability skills, digital career skills and mental health awareness: We can offer individual career planning and analyse your current skills base. You will get independent advice and guidance, which will help you to formulate your next steps. Mental health awareness means that we’re not only acknowledging that mental health is important, but we’re talking about it, putting it out there so that people who feel too much can get the help they need too. Included in the course: *Understand mental health disorders *Understand the support and advice available for mental ill health The programme also covers ‘Alcohol Awareness  
Specific Learning Difficulties L210:00 – 12:00 each session   Monday 5th of July Wednesday 7th of July Friday 9th of July Wednesday 14th of JulyWith our level 2 course, you will: Develop a better awareness and understanding of Specific Learning Difficulties, learn how to be able to support individuals with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia or Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia and Attention Deficit Disorder or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD or AD(H)D). You will uncover common misunderstandings and misconceptions and gain a recognised qualification and stand out from the crowd with your knowledge for future job applications and career development.
Warehousing L210:00 – 12:00 each session   Tuesday 13th of July Wednesday 14th of July Thursday 15th of July Friday 16th of July Monday 19th of July Tuesday 20th of July Wednesday 21st of July Thursday 22nd of July Friday 23rd of JulyThis qualification is designed for learners to enter roles in the Warehousing and Storage industries. Learners will evaluate their previous experience and skills while looking at activities required to help develop and strengthen opportunities to secure employment. The course will include modules on: Understand health and safety considerations in a warehousing environment. Understand the processes involved following a stock check. Understand the need for undertaking stock checks in the warehousing environment. Understand the process for packaging goods in readiness for dispatch. Understand the process to follow prior to dispatch.  
Understanding Autism L210:00 – 12:00 each session   Wednesday 21st of July Friday 23rd of July Tuesday 27th of July Friday 30th of JulyOur L2 Understanding Autism course is thorough and includes the following: Gain the knowledge and skills to support individuals with autismUnderstand that autism is a spectrum, so everyone with autism is differentUnderstand the key phrases and language associated with autismLearn about a variety of different autism spectrum conditions such as AspergersDevelop new skills such as spotting the signs, symptoms and diagnosis of autism

Enterprise L110:00 – 12:00 each session   Monday 26th of July Wednesday 28th of July Friday 30th of July Monday 2nd of August Wednesday 4th of August Friday 6th of August    Understanding Enterprise is for those who wish to gain an introductory understanding of the subject of enterprise and self-employment by exploring specific areas of the business development cycle including: Understand How to Access Help and Support in Business, Understand How to Market Your Business and Understand the Importance of Business Planning.  
Functional Skills Maths & EnglishOngoingOur Functional Skills offer features flexible assessments and extensive support, with a full range of Maths and English up to a Level 2
