This #iwillweek, children, young people and partners of the #iwill campaign are hosting an interactive, digital #PowerOfYouth Festival. From the 16-20 November 2020, they’ll be asking you to:
LEARN from each other’s progress across different sectors and nations
CHALLENGE yourself and others to empower more children and young people to get involved in social action
LEAD by signing up to the Power of Youth Charter to take the #iwill movement to the next level
Over the past seven years, the power of youth festival have built a movement for change through the #iwill campaign. They are transforming the way children and young people are viewed by society, and championing the positive role they play within it.
Thanks to the collective efforts of #iwill campaign partners, more organisations and young people across the UK are working together to grow the Power Of Youth. But more needs to be done. Step Up To Serve will close its doors at the end of 2020, as planned. But, through you, the #iwill movement will continue to grow.
Each November, since 2014, they have celebrated the work of #iwill campaign partners and the children and young people of our nation doing youth social action. Now more than ever it is important to come together to recognise the achievements of our young people in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic and question why they are still being left out of so many conversations.
This year, the learning and inspiration is in your hands. This, free to attend, interactive digital festival is your opportunity to challenge others to take the #iwill movement to the next level.
