The Planning Delivery Fund prospectus invites local authorities and third sector organisations to submit bids for an initial £11 million of resource funding.
Funding is intended to support ambitious authorities in areas of high housing need to plan for new homes and infrastructure, equipping them with the requisite resources to deliver the agenda set out in the housing white paperand the Autumn Budget.
Funding is also offered to local authorities and third sector organisations (in partnership with local authorities, or on their own) to stimulate and support innovation in the way planning services are delivered.
Expressions of interest are to be submitted by 11 January 2018.
