One Wirral Festival – how you can get involved!

The One Wirral Festival aims to celebrate diversity and value our differences in the community but at the same time show how much we all have in common. To highlight the achievements and positive contributions of local people with a learning disability can make to the community. To deliver the message of inclusion in Wirral and demonstrate how public events can be made accessible with everyone in mind. To raise awareness of the wide range of opportunities the Wirral community has to offer.

Everyone is invited. The intention is that there will be something for everyone. It is a fun-filled, free family friendly event for the whole community to enjoy, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, cultural views, sexuality or disability. FREE entry on the day for members of the public. One Wirral will bring diverse organisations together to raise awareness and celebrate what. The day will be filled with performances, exhibitions, workshops, opportunities and children’s activities.

Similar to last year. One Wirral Festival will showcase community choirs, dance groups, art groups, amateur dramatics societies, heritage and cultural groups, rambling groups, ‘friends of’ groups and much more.
