One of the main focuses of the evening will be around the relaunch of the Wirral Neighbourhood Justice Scheme as ROC Restore Wirral. This will be our ninth ROC Restore project nationally and will be undertaken in partnership with Safer Wirral and Merseyside Police.
ROC Restore is a form of Restorative Justice (RJ) undertaken by community members. The aim is to bring together victims and perpetrators of low-level crime, anti-social behaviour and nuisance in a meeting where trained volunteers use restorative or reparative approaches to agree on a course of action for those involved.
ROC Restore Training Days
In order to be able to support this project, we would like to train further volunteers to supplement the existing team to be able to facilitate Restorative Justice meetings. We will be holding the volunteer training over 3 Saturdays at the Wirral Christian Centre on the following dates: Saturdays 12th, 19th & 26th November (9.30am – 4.30pm)
