NSPCC Research Fund – Deadline for EOI is 2nd November 2017 at 5pm

The NSPCC has a research fund available for smaller organisations to demonstrate the impact of their work. We are calling for expressions of interest from organisations (with an annual budget up to £10m) to help build the evidence base on what works in helping children get back on track after abuse. The deadline for the one-page submission is 2 November.

The NSPCC is committed to growing the evidence base on what works in helping children get back on track after abuse and neglect. We continue to demonstrate our own impact but also wish to promote the evidence base across the board. The funding is offered to build evidence on:

  • what sort of help is effective in improving outcomes for children with the experience of abuse or neglect, and/or,
  • how the work of an organisation(s) delivering services to children who have experienced abuse or neglect has an impact on the wider child protection system.

We encourage expressions of interest from small organisations that offer services or interventions aimed at helping children and young people get the right support at the right time and wish to formally assess the impact of their work. We expect to award between one and three proposals with funding.

For more information on how to express your interest and the criteria for this funding, please contact researchresponses@nspcc.org.uk. Organisations must submit a one-page expression of interest proposal by the 2 November 2017 at 5pm.

Proposals that are successful will be contacted the w/c 6 November for any clarifications needed. We expect that between three and eight applicants will be asked to submit a full proposal by 30 November.
