With the summer months expecting to result in an increase in NHS activity due to ailments such as sunstroke, allergies, and food poisoning and visits to A&E departments, NHS England North has published an information pack to meet this demand.
The aim of the information pack is to provide coordination and consistency in messages about key summer health issues and NHS services.
It contains key messages, facts and statistics and other information for stakeholders, partners and local media to use in relation to common health issues related to the summer months.
