NHS CHC and Complex Care Commissioning Policy Revision Survey

0

Clinical Commissioning Groups have legal requirements and responsibilities to make provision for patients who have been assessed as eligible for an episode of NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) funding including Funded Nursing Care (FNC) or a contribution to a Joint package of Care (JPC) (Clinical Commissioning Groups Responsibilities and Standing Rules Regulations 2012.)

As commissioners of these NHS services, we strive to provide robust assurance that we are delivering best possible health and wellbeing outcomes for the local population including:

equality, and consistency in the local area over the services that individuals are offered

the best possible provision of safe, high quality and clinically effective health and social care for our population

We are all committed to using NHS resources effectively, efficiently and in the most cost-effective manner that is both reasonable and affordable. With this in mind, we would like to consult with patients, staff and stakeholders on the revision of our Commissioning Policy to ensure the packages of care provided are aligned with these values and realised across all of the Cheshire CCG’s.

This revision is part of our regular commitment to ongoing improvement.

NHS CHC and Complex Care Commissioning Policy -DRAFT

To support this revision we would like to ask patients for feedback and comments on the above DRAFT Policy using the survey link here.

The survey is open until Monday 16 July.

As always we value feedback from our patients and would thank you in advance for taking the time to do so.
