Salary: £19,800 – £23,540
Full time: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm (potential weekend and evening work may be required)
Claire House Children’s Hospice has a fantastic opportunity to join their friendly People Services Team. As Community Volunteer Coordinator you will be a proactive, self-motivated individual with experience in working with volunteers in a variety of roles.
You will join Claire House during an exciting time of expansion and growth, as we aim to achieve our ambition of reaching every child in our community who needs us. The successful candidate will support the development of volunteer resource both on site and in the wider community.
You will deliver administration and operational support to both volunteers and staff, throughout their volunteer journey, including the recruitment, training and monitoring of volunteers. You will be responsible for all volunteer data ensuring information is accurately recorded and maintained. You will mainly be working across the fundraising, retail and volunteer teams, so a passion for building relationships is required. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with volunteers and developing a successful and sustainable volunteer program. You will have experience of working within an administration environment and be IT literate.
