New resource for people living with learning disability or Autism

Last year we were in touch about the BIHR project to produce a resource for people living with learning disability and / or autism.

An opportunity to attend our launch event for this resource on 22 March in Liverpool, 2-4pm. We’re hoping to have a range of speakers and will be showcasing the resource in public for the first time. You can book your free place is here: https://www.bihr.org.uk/Event/resource-launch-learning-disability-autism-and-human-rights

We held a successful mapping event in Liverpool in December and gained valuable feedback that has heavily influenced the content of the resource. It is to include information on human rights relevant to people living with learning disability and / or autism, how to identify whether you have a human rights issue, and what to do if you do have a human rights issue. We’re excited at how comprehensive it aims to be and the feedback we’ve had so far has been positive.

After this date the resource will be available to request from us by sending us an email or giving us a call. It will also be available to download via our website.
