At NatWest, we want to help build better communities for everyone. To achieve that aim, we’re seeking projects that will enable people in disadvantaged communities to develop, create or access the skills and opportunities they need to build their financial capability skills or to start or develop a new business now or in the future.
In 2017 we’re making £2 million available across England and Wales through our Skills & Opportunities Fund. The regional boards (with the help of a public vote) will determine the destination of grants of up to £35,000. So, if you’re a not-for-profit organisation and have a project aimed at helping people to help themselves, in the areas of financial capability and enterprise, then keep an eye out for our next application window.
The North
- We want to fund projects that help people investigate self-employment and start their own business.
- We also want to fund projects that improve the financial education of disadvantaged people to help them manage their personal finances more effectively.
- We are keen to see applications submitted from across our region, but would also encourage organisations from outside the larger metropolitan areas to apply.
