My Child Can – Facebook Page
Wirral Council set up the My Child Can Facebook page at the start of June and have been building an online profile liking partner pages and national campaigns and agencies, and posting updates and information.
In August (hopefully the 11th) those team members who have been nominated to administer the site and post updates will be trained so that they can post direct to the page, with class information, photos, what on info, summer activities and events and any changes to that information, funding opportunities, early education etc. As well as important seasonal information for staying safe in the sun etc, national campaigns, local partner activities etc.
The page currently has 100 likes, if you could share the page with colleagues and ask them to like the page if they are on Facebook and also share with any partners and if they have Facebook accounts for their organisations of they could like the My Child Can page also, so we can begin to build up the following. You can also begin to let parents and Carers know that you are now on Facebook so they too can follow the page.

The Facebook web address has been added to all of the promotional materials also to raise awareness.
