As the Charity’s resources are modest, the Trustees prefer to fund small to medium-sized non-profit organisations with a constituition forexample registered Charities, CICs, Credit Unions, excluding statutory organisations. Organisations should have an income under £500,000 and have less than six months free reserves.
We invite organisations to apply if they have a great idea for a project, related to the grant round theme. The themes will be repeated every two years.
Each round will focus on delivering financial life skills to different defined groups.
There are two grant rounds per year, applications are invited in February and September only.
We limit each grant round to the first 40 applications.
Most grants are below £5,000.
We want to make applying for a grant as simple as we can, as we know applying for funding can be a huge challenge for most organisations.
The majority of the grants made are for activity costs although some grants fund salaries and running costs. We do not fund capital costs.The majority of grants given are under £5k but exceptional applications could go upto £10k.
