Manna Community Kitchen are seeking assistance in setting up breakfast clubs for Whitsun Bank Holiday.
Depending on logistics, they are looking to trial different locations which will then help determine where the project could locate when it is rolled out again during the summer holidays. The overriding goal is to effectively combat school holiday hunger in areas where the need is greatest.
They are looking for assistance for:
- Locating suitable venues – These could be school kitchens or church halls. Anywhere that has basic kitchen facilities (sink, hobs) and is well located.
- Retail assistance – When deciding on the above, they need to consider local supermarkets that would be able to assist in helping provide food.
If you would like to get involved with the project or suggest a suitable location within the community, please contact Bryce Evans on 0151 2913585.
