The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCR CA) is undertaking further consultation on the Fair Employment Charter it has been developing over the course of this year. This online consultation is open until midnight on Wednesday 18th November.
The Fair Employment Charter is being developed in response to Metro Mayor, Steve Rotheram’s pledge in 2019 to improve the world of work in the Liverpool City Region. Since then, the LCR CA has engaged with people about their experiences of work and asked businesses, staff, trade unions and others, including the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector what should be included in the Liverpool City Region’s Fair Employment Charter.
There are also number of areas which they are keen to gain further insight from businesses, employees and all who are interested in Fair Employment. They are looking to make sure that they put Healthy and Safe working and workplaces at the heart of the Charter, so they are keen to hear feedback on a new and distinct pillar focusing on making sure that the Charter encourages and recognises safe workplaces that support a healthy workforce.
