Dear Colleagues,
I circulated the new Locality Networking Event dates earlier in the week. The events are aimed at organisations and community groups working with and supporting families and young people.
It has been brought to our attention that the first Birkenhead event date coincides with the scheduled Linked-up meeting that we usually hold at St James Centre. In the spirit of collaboration and partnership working we have arranged to join up the two meetings. Therefore for the month of May only there will be no meeting at St James Centre instead we will merge with the Locality Networking Event on;
Friday 27th May
9.30 – 11.30am
Pilgrim Street Youth Theatre Arts Centre
1 Pilgrim Street
Birkenhead
CH41 5EH
Updates from boards, steering groups and work streams will be sent out after the meeting by email rather than discussed at the meeting, and feedback can be returned in this way also. The usual St James Centre venue will resume for the next meeting in July and I will send information on this closer to the date.
There will be a table arrangement in which we will have Emma Manesh from The University of Chester. She is undertaking a research project on behalf of the Youth Federation involving mapping children’s and youth services on Wirral. We encourage all organisations and community groups to touch base with Emma and find out how you can contribute to this important research.
If you would like a table to promote your services please contact Steve Chan who is facilitating this event [email protected]
I look forward to seeing you all there.
Kind regards,
Natalie Johnson
